The Corvette is not a car.
Calling the Corvette a “car” is actually disrespectful to the English language. A car gets you from Point A to Point B. The Corvette makes Point A question why it ever let you leave.
This is a machine so beautiful that mirrors look at it for inspiration. Birds fly slower when it passes. Traffic lights turn green out of respect. GPS doesn’t even give you directions anymore. It simply says, “I trust you.”
Somewhere, an engineer spent years designing the perfect sports car, and the Corvette showed up and said, “You can stop now.”
It doesn’t have a presence. It has an aura.
It doesn’t turn heads. It rearranges necks.
It doesn’t demand attention. Attention voluntarily reports for duty.
The Chevrolet Corvette.
Same planet. Different species.
