You got your water tested at Mt. View. The printout says what's off. Now what?

Here's the short version of pool and spa chemistry — and the HTH line that handles it.

Chlorine kills the bugs. You need a steady dose, week after week. The 3-inch HTH tabs drop in your floatie and dissolve as the pool gets used. Most folks are topping them off every week or so. It's not optional — chlorine is what keeps your water safe.

pH keeps the water comfortable. If it's off, your eyes burn, your skin itches, and your chlorine stops working as hard. We carry pH up and pH down — whichever way yours needs to go.

Shock is for when something throws everything sideways in a hurry. A weekend party. A hard rain. A kid who jumped in with sunscreen still on. Shock resets the chlorine balance fast so the algae and bacteria don't get a head start.
