KnottHeads Custom Sawing & FabWorx is a family run Portable Sawmilling Operation that is also a family of Wood Workers...

We mill logs into lumber and large slabs at your location and at our location. We have a WoodMizer LT40 Super Hydraulic BandSaw Mill as well as a Lucas 10-30 Swing Mill with a 60" Wide Slabber & 60" Wide Planer. We can also Re-Saw cants and lumber with our HR120 ReSaw rig...


In addition to milling wood, we also are a fully equipped wood working facility that specializes in Adirondack Furniture as well as Live Edge Slab Furniture...

We have lots of slabs available for purchase in various types of woods... All of the wood in our wood lot has been reclaimed by us here locally in the Modesto, Ceres, Turlock and surrounding areas. We work along with homeowners and tree services to reclaim the urban trees, to repurpose them into many new items to have a continued usefulness. By utilizing this urban wood source we are doing our part by "tree cycling" items that would normally be chipped or chucked into a landfill...
