A small abrasive water jet project we completed this week. These 304 S.S. parts will be a plastic water bottle grinder once assembled. Parts are set out for customer to inspect Monday.

TBT, here’s a project we did a few years back, in 2013. One of our grocery store customers was having a ventilation problem in there refrigeration chiller room, located on the second floor. The before pictures show the small narrow vents installed in the double doors. So our task was to design and install new vent doors that had more open area for air flow, but also could drain rain water. Oh too, all material and hardware needed to be 304 stainless steel. Also had to consider large bugs and birds from not being able to enter the room. So we used flat expanded metal on the inside of door panels, shown in the picture taken in the shop, prior to install. Also, the door was located 15’ above grade on outside of building, so rental equipment was also needed for the installation. One of the more interesting projects we did for them

Happy Friday THE 13th!!!

This is a project we did for a local customer that we finished in Dec. 2016, along with a video showing a hydraulic platen press laminating melamine sheeting.

We inspected and repaired all ten hydraulic cylinder housing, cylinder rods, upper mounting brackets, and all the mounting plates on the top of the platen plate. We worked a total of seven weeks on this project, inspection and blueprinting all of the parts along with the repairs and fabrication of new parts.

Customer started press back up first week of 2017, worked out a few minor problems, and back making quality product for their customers.

Here is the latest project we have completed going into 2017 -

One of our corrugation plant customers contacted us the friday before New Years weekend needing us to repair/replace two bad Bearing Journals on an Adopter Stub Shaft and Module Facer Tension Roller.

Our Team picked up the parts from the customer, reverse engineered the dimensions, and put a plan for repair together.

First picture are the parts before and the second picture are the parts after the job was complete.

We weld repaired the existing parts and machined them back to the correct size. Turn around time was 2 working days and we made sured to file the drawings we made for future use and our customer has requested pricing for a new set.
