Today at Fuller Designs we had some really awesome visitors! ✨

Elijah White stopped by with two Rochester High School students who wanted to interview us about what it’s like being a local business owner. It was such a great conversation, and these girls asked thoughtful questions and showed so much curiosity and drive.

It’s always inspiring to see young people getting involved, learning about their community, and exploring their future paths. These two are definitely going to go far in life! 🌟

☔🌧️ As another atmospheric river sweeps through our region, it's a stark reminder of the vital role civil engineers play in protecting our communities. Properly designed stormwater systems (like drainage networks, retention ponds, and infiltration galleries) help manage the massive flow of water, reducing flooding, erosion, and damage to homes and roads.
Civil engineering isn't just about building, it's about planning for nature, keeping people safe, and ensuring our infrastructure can handle extreme weather events. Next time you see rainwater safely channeled away from streets and neighborhoods, know that behind it is careful planning, smart engineering, and a lot of forethought.
