This is terrible news indeed.
Jim was a great guy and talented chef. He was one of our very first customers. He will be sorely missed. Godspeed Chef!

It is with utter and complete devastation that we announce the passing of our leader, crew member, devoted father and son, and dear dear friend Jim Davis. Jim was and always will be the heart, soul and Mad Food Genius behind The Shack. This is one of our all-time favorite photos of Jim doing what he was masterful at, leading his kitchen troops. Sometimes there simply are no words.
