Continuing from the last post on the part ejector…. This end pushes the machined part out into a catcher which extracts the component out of the machine. This is a simple form of automation that allows the machine to continue making parts repetitively without manual intervention.

Hard turning 62Rc interrupted cut custom serrated collets. The customer tried carbide spray on the clamping surface but it wore out and need to be reapplied.
