When a Screen Looks Fine - ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ข๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ. Look to ๐ง๐ฅ๐๐, ๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ designed specifically for screening equipment!
During a recent site visit, a Terex Vibratory Engineer ran into a familiar challenge. Material flowed smoothly at the feed end but stalled at discharge, throttling throughput and efficiency.
A visual inspection showed no obvious mechanical failures. On the surface, everything looked fine.
Using the four synchronized sensors, TRAC captured realโtime stroke, angle, Gโforce, and speed from all corners of the screen. The data revealed the real issue: the screen was running at just 700 RPM instead of its normal 830 RPM, producing Gโforces well below target. The lower energy left nearโsize material hanging up at the discharge end.
The ๐ง๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐๐น๐๐ฒ๐ฟ pointed the engineer to the drive system, where a failed Vโbelt tensioner spring was causing belt slip and loss of speed.
Without TRAC, this problem would have been nearly impossible to diagnose by sight alone.
When screen performance matters, real data beats assumptions -
