I've put some thought in to what The Shop could use for equipment and the short-list is below.

Metal working:
Everything.

Woodworking:
A better table saw
Dust collector
Drill press
Drill bits(spiral,spade,forstner)
Tool box or tool board
Lathe+tools
Work tables

If you have any of these tools and would like to donate or make another type of deal, send me a message. I'll need to know power requirements for the machine as well.

Again, I know its not ideal yet, but we have to start somewhere. Thanks for reading!

Hello all! It's been quite some time since I've posted on this page and I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has stuck around.
I still don't have funds for a building but I do have another thought. My garage. It's not big and it won't have every tool you could ever need but it has the basics. What I'm wondering about is if anyone would interest in that? Tools I have are below.

(some of the machines in the pictures would be better positioned if this starts up.)
Laser Engraver
Contractor Table Saw
12'x5' Panel Saw
12" Miter Box (chop saw)
12" planer
8" Jointer
Combo 6" Wide Belt Sander/12" Disc Sander
Spindle Sander
Router Table
Air Compressor
Various Drills and bits
small selection of bar clamps
Coffee Maker (most important thing)
Radio (second most important thing)

Obviously, this is not an ideal list of tools and it wont work for every project but its a start. Please let me know if there is any interest in this! I'm thinking to start off with $5 a day and maybe $50 for the month? I know free would be better but I have to cover costs such as power, heat, and machine consumables.

I need more input from the community! Please comment a 4 hour time frame during the day you would most likely be working on things at the shop as well as weekday or weekend.

UPDATE

-Working on approval from the Cedar Grove Town Planning Committee

-Decided to for sure do a Kickstarter crowd funding page to help with start up funds and as well as for possible machine donation and sponsorship.

-Building purchase still going forward at this point.

Machine Sponsorship is also available for anyone interested. Your name would be forever engraved on to a plaque that is attached to the machine and also possible membership dicounts. If interested, please contact me!
