Here we are running a single op workflow. (With rapids turned down to show the elegance of the s700 flowing through each step of the process) The beautiful part about this system is the simplicity. Change a few variables, proof the run without stock, add the cut program and start running. Once I had proven my cut code it only took me about an hour or so to move to automated gripping.

Gimbel offers a ton of solutions but the beauty of it all is the simplicity, scale ability, and ease of implementation. This setup gives us a little over an hour of walk away time, and about 5 minutes to re load the machine.

These parts are moderately delicate and require some tight fitting jaws to keep from crushing the profile around the hole. Little tape to pick them up out of the jaw works a treat

Sometimes you have to be your own Apps guy. And sometimes you have to modify existing hardware. In an effort to improve change over time going back and forth between manual and pneumatic work holding on our trunnion we modified our 5th Axis zero point plate to have through air. It's working well so far.

Very happy how this schunk vise is performing. For some context that is a 1.5" wide jaw holding on to 6.5 inch long material. I did back things off a bit from my normal feeds and speeds but still fairly rigid considering everything. Unfortunately I can't share the part but I'm very happy with how it turned out.
