Our service dept is currently going through a 185 rear end that will be turned into a puller. New gears and bearings in the transmission. Disassembled differential to inspect and assemble with new bearings. Rear axles will be inspected and gone through with new bearings. This tractor will have increased horsepower and can't have any breakdowns when competing against the red and green tractors!

We are offering a 1938 B for a restoration project as a whole tractor until June 5th. If tractor is not sold by June 5th, we will part it out.

Back on this WD45 factory style painting job. We are assembling this week after letting the paint dry over the weekend. New wiring harness and new gauges going on at the same time. The customer chose to go with 16.9-28 rear tires and 7.50-16 front tires, they should be in tomorrow and the tractor will be back on its feet!

Our service dept had a paint job later this week, a customer's WD45 tractor. After completing the mechanical repairs this winter, the painting had to wait until warmer weather. Finally Cecil WI is not falling below 32 at night anymore! So the painting commenced for the year.
This WD45 was disassembled, blasted, primed and painted. The paint will dry over the weekend and we will start assembling and touching up next week!

Our service dept worked more on the 6080 this week, installing the replacement piston on #4 cylinder. The engine broke #4 exhaust valve spring causing the head of the valve to snuggle into the top of the piston. #4 connecting rod is bent, and #3 piston was found to have a metal chunk embedded into it as well, possibly from previous damage or repair. New bearings were installed into each connecting rod. #3 and #4 cylinders were inspected and honed to go with the new piston rings on those cylinders.
The cylinder head is getting checked out at the machine shop, if it isn't savable it will get replaced. In the meantime, we will install new bearings in the counterbalancer and inspect the shafts for wear. We will inspect the turbo for damage and also the main bearings while the pan is off.
