American Engineering Consultants, Inc. American Engineering Consultants, Inc.’s roots go back nearly 50 years to 1969 when its parent Company, Hercules Contractors and Engineers, Inc.

AEC is a full service engineering consulting firm dedicated to servicing state, municipal, industrial, and private sector clients in the areas of civil, electrical, structural and environmental engineering and surveying. was established. AEC was formed in 1994 from the engineering division of Hercules and has enjoyed continuous local ownership. As a result, the principals of AEC, Bill and Kenny Bingham, originated in the construction field, providing a distinct advantage to our clients. Our construction background has shown us what can and cannot be done in the field, particularly in the development in project designs, specifications and budget constraints.

🌧️ Putting Infrastructure to the Test!

Yesterday’s massive rainstorm gave the City of Cayce's new drainage infrastructure a real-world test—and it did exactly what it was designed to do.

This video shows the system hard at work, efficiently moving stormwater and helping protect streets, properties, and the community from flooding.

Projects like this are a great reminder that thoughtful infrastructure investments make a difference—especially when the weather puts them to the test. 💧👏
