Built like it means business! Custom heavy-duty foot railing that can handle the heaviest of boots. A couple coats of paint on this and it will be here for the long haul. Scroll if you want to see the process!

This “little, quick, and simple” project (minimal planning) landed me somewhere between
“play stupid games, win stupid prizes”
And
“Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should”

All that being said, this has been a fun bunch of brain games! And this obscenely heavy little table can be moved around the shop with ease!

Was able to do a quick rust repair on a bumper this weekend and almost finished repurposing this head out of a cardboard compactor to use as a secondary fab table in the shop! Will post more on the caster set up later this week

This was, hands down, the most difficult job we have done to date. Questioned my sanity as many times as these things got cut back apart, and wanted to scrap the project and walk away twice as much, but looking back, I am so glad that I stuck it out! Have to remember to find joy in the trials 😁
