From groundbreaking to grand opening! 🏗️🏡

We’re proud to celebrate the completion of Santa Lucia Apartments, a 20-unit workforce housing community built for Soledad Unified School District teachers and staff!

Funded by Measure N, this project represents an important investment in the educators and school employees who serve the Soledad community. With a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, shared amenities, and a convenient downtown location, the development helps address the growing need for attainable workforce housing in our region.

As General Contractor, Ausonio is grateful to have worked alongside Soledad Unified School District, Education Housing Partners, and 19six Architects to bring this project to life.

From Project Accounting to Design-Build Specialist?! 🏎️🏆

Katherine, Project Accountant at Ausonio, took home first place in BOTH speed and design at the Pico Derby! At this rate, we might need to get her a tool belt and put her to work in the field. That accountant is actually an engineer! 😮

We had a great time racing cars with the Scouts and our friends—and the Ausonio crew showed up ready to compete. We took home 1st Place in Speed, 1st Place in Design, 3rd Place in Speed, and 3rd Place in Design, while our friends at DKI earned 2nd Place in both categories.

A little friendly competition, some very serious miniature engineering, and a great cause made for a fun event. Thank you to Val Strough Honda, the Scouts, and everyone involved for bringing the community together!

Winner, winner, fender bender! 🏁

At the end of the day, the putter and driver go into the same bag. 💫👜¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lots of fun at the APWA Monterey Bay Chapter Golf Tournament last Friday! ⛳ Even our CEO got out on the course!

The greens were fast, the fairways were narrow, and “no matter where you go, there you are” felt especially relevant out there.

Thank you, American Public Works Association Monterey Bay Chapter for championing education and professional development in our community. Ausonio is proud to support your work and always enjoys being part of this event.

Our interns got hands-on experience with a concrete pour this summer, seeing firsthand how the process works in the field.

Getting on the jobsite gave them the opportunity to connect what they’re learning in the classroom with real-world construction. We enjoyed having them with us this summer and being part of their education.

Now they have to hit the books again! 📚📖

We were proud to serve as Construction Manager for Encompass Community Services’ new Sí Se Puede Behavioral Health Center.

Designed to expand Encompass’ capacity, this new facility will help the organization serve hundreds more community members each year in a welcoming environment centered on recovery, healing, and long-term wellness.

As a locally owned general contractor and construction management firm, we’re grateful for the opportunity to help bring meaningful projects like this to life. Through collaboration, cost guidance, and project oversight, our team works alongside clients and project partners to create facilities that strengthen the communities we serve.

Last month, we had the opportunity to take our summer interns to visit Cal Poly Swanton Pacific Ranch in Davenport after being selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for the ranch's rebuilding efforts.

We toured the ranch, learned about the plans for its future after the CZU Lightning Complex Fire, and enjoyed lunch with the Cal Poly students spending their summer at the ranch.

Three of our five interns are Construction Management students at Cal Poly, making the visit a unique opportunity to see a project that will directly benefit future students.

Thank you to the Swanton Pacific Ranch team for the warm welcome. We're excited to get to work and help bring the next chapter of the ranch to life.
