Double up on workspace in the kitchen

Not only did trends adding more workspace transition to doubling up on islands, as well as the size of islands grew. With the kitchen maintaining the heart of the home. Not only is workspace and gathering a significant appeal to the kitchen, as well as an appealing kitchen design is required.

Several things to consider when choosing to add a second island for workspace or gathering. First, be sure to have a minimum of 3 feet between the cabinets for ease of movement and flow. In addition, be sure to check for clearance and ease of use of pullout cabinets. Next, because of limited space, it’s not recommended to have appliances in between the two islands.

Advantages of creating two islands in your kitchen is number one added workspace. In addition, while prepping in the kitchen your teens and visitors can enjoy an area to work on homework, crafts or just enjoy a cup of coffee. When having small gatherings, adults gather at one island while children gather at another. Furthermore, the additional storage created will suit fine for those random craft, school, or other projects. No matter how you choose to utilize double kitchen islands. The rewards will be noticed and enjoyed for years to come.
