Working on a late Friday release… that turned into Saturday because things have been absolutely slammed at Jackal Motorsports lately.
Now that the Jackal team is back in full action, we brought another RS3 onto the dyno as we get closer to formally releasing the platform, pricing, package options, and all the combinations everyone keeps asking about. Yes, there may even be TCU-only pricing… but honestly, who would want that?
What we can say is we are extremely excited about this platform and everything we’ve been developing behind the scenes.
This particular RS3 came in locally with a Stage 2 exp/tcu tune from another company. The car made decent power, but it was pulling a ton of timing throughout the runs.
We flashed it back to stock first, then moved onto the full Jackal Sauce Stage 2 ECU + TCU combo.

After confirming the OTS files looked solid on the dyno, we ran a 15-140 MPH pull and followed it up immediately with another hot pull to verify consistency and behavior once heat soaked.
To finish the day, we took the customer out to the newly paved launch strip we built at HQ. Always puts smiles on customers’ faces…
As for the platform itself, here’s what’s coming:
Traditional Stage 1 / Stage 2 support for both 91 and 93 octane
980cc MPI injector support for Stage 1/2 and custom tuning
Full map switching support available with custom tuning packages
No Flex Fuel support yet. We’re a small team and we’d rather release things correctly than rush features out the door.
Stay tuned, more videos of full map switching are coming very soon. This will be an optional upgrade on custom tuning, and you’re going to start seeing people use it across a lot of different platforms.
