Identify and Hire the Right Talent

If you are looking for better ways to identify and hire the right talent, or if you consistently struggle to fill particular roles, the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber has a solution. We are partnering with the ACCE Foundation on its upcoming Employer Accelerator for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses to help employers incorporate skills-based practices, only $99 per attendee.

Training will cover:

• Casemaking and identifying skills
• Defining skills and building job descriptions
• Building an interview process aligned to skills
• Sourcing, selecting and onboarding
• Practices beyond hiring

At the beginning of the program, each participant will choose a role that has been difficult to fill. During the virtual sessions, they will develop a skills-based job description and interview guide for that role.

This program is open to organizations with 500 or fewer full-time employees. HR staff, hiring managers and/or senior executives are encouraged to attend.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bartow County is looking for a Part-Time Youth Development Professional to join their team and make a real difference in the lives of local kids!

What you’ll do:

• Lead engaging after-school programs, activities, and enrichment
• Build strong, positive relationships with youth
• Help create a safe, supportive, and inspiring Club environment
• Support programs in Cartersville and Adairsville locations

Ideal candidate: Positive, dependable, energetic, and passionate about youth development. Flexible availability for after-school hours, school breaks, and summer programming is a big plus!
