Having the right temperature management options allows you to match your high-capacity cryogenic freezer to your operating requirements. Revolution freezers give you two options – Level Control Mode and Radiance Mode. Radiance Mode, which is a patent-pending technology available exclusively from IC Biomedical, can be used as a temperature setpoint for any specific temperature between -20° and -190°C with no liquid nitrogen in the reservoir. Radiance can also be used to assist cooling when the freezer is accessed or warm material is inserted. This feature may be used in both Radiance Mode or Level Control Mode. Is high-level sample access security important for your biorepository operation? The Revolution Series has security features that limit access down to the quadrant/rack level. Revolution's locking lid can be opened only after entering a password on the touchscreen or, for faster access, with an RFID badge reader. On the Revolution-SA with motor-driven carousel, the system administrator can establish individual user profiles that can restrict access to specific locations within the freezer, such as a specific quadrant or rack.
