"So no bed?"
Simon ejected the factory bed and built the rear of the Tacoma around what he actually wanted back there. Spare tire, fuel, uncrustables, tools; all the useful stuff, none of the bed.

Honestly, it looks rad.

Single Cab 2nd Gen Tacoma owners, we finally got these Rock Sliders on camera. 2" DOM, frame-mounted, jack capable, and built to take the hit before your rocker panel does. We walk through the full install in the new video, including the optional extra mounting points if you want to make them even more rigid.

RYU gave us three pretty different ways to answer “what wheels should I put on the truck?” The TAO-7X, HRO-12X and RAI-6X are all flow-formed 17s built around Toyota and Lexus truck/SUV fitment, so really the hard part is just picking one.

Off-roading really is a universal language. A Venezuelan team of wheelers jumped in to help our TEQSPORT Off-Road team crawl this section and keep the Taco's chassis from getting folded into the rocks, no questions asked. Doesn’t matter where you’re from, if you’re out there on the trail, somebody’s usually willing to spot, push, pull, or crawl under something with you. That's why this community is pretty damn cool.

Single cab Tacomas have the shortest wheelbase and some of the most exposed rocker panels out there, which can be problematic. Ours are 2" DOM with gusseted struts on 1/4" frame plates, strong enough to jack the truck up from, and bolt-on out of the box with optional drill points if you want them stiffer. Your rockers will never know what hit them, because something else did!

Our TEQSPORT Off-Road team was terrorizing the terrain during Finals. Great teammates and spotters can make the difference between getting through the line and becoming part of the trail scenery, and Simon had a good crew keeping him pointed in the right direction.
