When the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office asked us to laser-etch 47 new M&P pistols for the corrections division, we said yes — on one condition. They had to bring a K9.
In came Blek.
Sheriff Ryan Robinson and Sgt. Bryan Hemerline walked through the door and made everyone’s day. Blek is retired now, after more than eight years as an explosives-detection K9 across our region. Still all business until someone scratched the right spot.
Days like this make everything else worth it.
Thank you, Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office, for keeping the peace — and for sharing Blek with the shop.
