Q4 budgets are being written right now.

If racking is on the list, the lead time sets your install date — not the purchase order. Racking approved in November that ships in eight weeks becomes a January install. That is next year's budget, and the space sits unproductive through peak season.

We stock beams, uprights and wire decking on our floor. Standard selective racking ships in days, not quarters. Engineered systems, mezzanines and permitted work still need real lead time, and September is when those get locked in.

Selective pallet racking installed for Lab37 in Cranberry, PA.

Selective racking gives you direct access to every pallet, which is why it is the most widely used system in warehousing. This one went in with column guards from the start — most rack damage happens low on the uprights from routine contact, and protecting them during installation costs far less than replacing them later.
