I’ve own my truck (05 Tundra) for over 10 years. Always had someone do the oil changes because I didn’t want to deal with removing the skid plate. Well my skid plate was rusting out. It was time to replace it. I narrowed down my options, which were not many.
Ordered here, and received it pretty quick. I went to do the swap and that’s when I knew I was in trouble. Only 1 bolt holding the skid plate on. 3 bolts were broken.
Had to get those removed and re-threaded. I did the first oil change. Fairly easy when you can reach the oil filter. I’m doing my 2nd one after my western hunting trip (4,000 miles). Skid plate looks great, and I’m looking forward to doing an oil change.
Thanks Skid Row for a great product. I wish I would have switched mine 10 years ago.

I got my skid plate and realized it only used one support to the engine mounts. After analyzing the design I realized all the others on the market are weak. This design mounts the bash/skid guard directly to the frame where it needs to be.
This product is larger in size protecting more than the others.
Installation was simple and only took a few minutes to install. My eyes are now on the rest of their products for my wish list. I'll be sliding down the mountain smoothly now.

My Sequoia is older but has low miles and I love it. I work remotely and was on a conference call in the middle of the afternoon and had the privilege of watching, on my driveway cam, a car pull up my driveway and take both my catalytic converters in less than two minutes. I was worried the insurance would total a solid well running car over the cost of repair. I was so grateful they paid for the repair and I added your skid plate for added peace of mind. I didn’t realize how disappointed I would be to lose my car until I was faced with the real potential.

I’m just a mom who loves her ride or die car and now, I am not running to the driveway cam every time I hear something.

Of course the off road husband and adult children think it’s pretty sweet too.

Score one for mom!
