Celebrating a Legacy: Mark Hoffman Retires After 20+ Years

We're proud to celebrate the retirement of Mark Hoffman, who has dedicated over 20 years to Standley Batch and leaves behind a legacy of dedication and excellence.

Mark joined Standley Batch in 2001 as a Purchaser and moved into the Sales Manager role in 2006, where he has led both inside and outside sales teams. He's also been our valued liaison at industry shows and conferences, serving as our Trade Show Manager.

We thank Mark for his outstanding contributions and lasting impact on Standley Batch and our industry.

As we honor Mark's legacy, we are also excited about the future. The Standley Batch team is stronger than ever, carrying forward the same values and dedication you have always known. While our services are primarily associated with concrete paver and concrete block plants, precast and prestressed concrete, ready-mix concrete plants, dry-mix concrete plants and bagging plants, we’ve worked with a variety of unexpected material producers to develop solutions that often exceed expectations.

Principal Purpose of Position:

Sales to Customers related to the industry to work across the United States. Standley Batch will provide training, including product knowledge and development of our Company sales process.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate and grow new business by successfully executing on a sales plan
• Build strong partner relationships to increase opportunities and close sales to meet sales quotas
• Initiate prospect calls with all potential customers in specified territories, access opportunity, schedule presentations, increase brand awareness, facilitate dealership relationships, and problem solve
• Support and maintain effective communication with team members and management staff
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions with prospects, customers, co-workers and vendor
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of one year of business-to-business outside sales experience focused on new account generation, preferably selling a service
• Demonstrated success in developing new business and generating sales leads within an assigned sales territory
• Strong presentation and communication skills with a consultative selling approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license (Required)
• Successful completion of criminal background check and motor vehicle record (Required)
• Must be able to travel 70% of the time
