On this edition of STUMP DAVE - A fresh banister. Strong, smooth, and safe.

This client is restoring a family home. Years ago, they cut these nice ponderosa pine spindles down to make space for carpeting (not advised). Now that all that carpeting is gone, there was a gap at the foot of every spindle. Since the newel and railing had seen better days, we just decided to replace everything. Left some play at the end of each spindle so they can be installed nice and tight. Short and sweet.
