Canastota N/C is looking to fill a Full-Time Material Handler position for 1st shift.

Responsibilities: will consist of, and may not be limited to:
• Loading/unloading, and transports materials to designated areas or locations along with verifying quantities using basic math and organizes materials.
• Prepares finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product and related documentation.
• Supplies production lines with needed materials
• Understands Production/Shipping Schedules for part/machine requirements in preparation for machine changeovers.
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School or Equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift efficiently and safely.
• Ability to operate other material handling equipment.
• A valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Basic computer skills.
• Applicants must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to safely multi-task in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comprehend work instructions, shipping, and quality documents.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
• Often lifting/moving up to 60 lbs. material.
• Ability to perform movements of bending, lifting, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling of torso, and flexing of arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are required over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
• Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
You should be proficient in:
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Must be able to read and write English well enough to understand process instructions, work orders, and other paperwork.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and withstand twisting and turning of your body.

1st shift hours are Monday thru Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm. With occasional overtime, and Saturdays.

Pay range: $18.00 + per hour DOE (depending on experience)

Canastota N/C is looking to fill four (4) full time CNC Lathe and CNC Mill operator positions for 1st and 2nd shift. Candidates that have CNC Lathe and/or Mill experience are preferred. We will also train candidates to operate the CNC Lathes and Mills.

Responsibilities: will consist of, and my not be limited to:
• Carry out production, inspection, and machine operation duties, using precision measuring devices and procedures.
• Set up and run machinery accurately and efficiently, utilizing precision measuring devices to perform inspections (and documentation) on the accuracy of their work and to adjust tooling offsets and replace tools when needed.
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Team-oriented, self-directed, reliable, and punctual

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School or Equivalent is preferred.
• Two Years of Operating CNC Equipment is preferred.
• Previous experience with Mazak Mazatrol software is preferred.
• Applicants must possess mathematical and mechanical aptitude and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to comprehend work instructions, and quality documents.
• Must be able to read and write English well enough to understand process instructions, work orders, and other paperwork.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds waist high.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and withstand twisting and turning of your body.

1st shift hours are Monday thru Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm; Overtime may be required during the week or Saturdays. 2nd shift hours are Monday thru Friday; 3:30pm-2:00am; Overtime is included in the shift hours and may be reduced as required.

Pay range: $18.00-$30.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)
