The fastest charger isn’t always the right charger.

Choosing between AC and DC charging starts with understanding dwell time: how long drivers typically stay at your site and how much energy they actually need during that visit.

For workplaces, multifamily properties, hotels and other destinations where vehicles stay parked for hours, AC charging can deliver the right amount of energy without unnecessary infrastructure costs. For highway corridors, fueling and convenience sites, and other locations built around short stops, DC fast charging can get drivers back on the road quickly.

The goal isn’t to install the most powerful charger available. It’s to match charging speed to how your site actually works.

Plan around the driver. Build around the use case.

What started as a small industry gathering rooted in has evolved into a meeting point for the entire charging ecosystem, bringing together hardware, software, services, standards and more.

Great conversations at ICNC on the future of EV charging standards. Kor Meelker, Senior Director of Global Standards at ChargePoint, showcased our RFID 2.0 solution, bringing stronger security to the charging experience.

As the industry scales, open standards, trusted infrastructure and interoperability will be critical to making charging more secure, seamless and simple for drivers.

Next Generation RFID establishes a secure and verifiable identity for each RFID-card using certificate-based authentication. Stations can validate credentials locally when trust anchors are available and use OCPP and OCPI communication to support real-time authorization and roaming across networks.

From higher-power charging to smarter, more flexible infrastructure, this year's conference made one thing clear: our industry is evolving fast, and the opportunity ahead is significant.

The momentum continues.

Q2 FY27 was a strong quarter for ChargePoint, marked by continued innovation, expanding partnerships and disciplined ex*****on.

We began early access shipments of Express Solo, expanded our work with Eaton, strengthened our leadership in Europe, and announced new partnerships and deployments designed to bring charging to more drivers and businesses.

And that momentum is showing in our results:

• $116M in revenue, up 18% year over year
• Networked charging systems revenue up 25% year over year
• $44M in subscription revenue, up 10% year over year
• Record non-GAAP gross margin of 38%

We’re building on this progress as we continue working to make EV charging easier, more reliable and more accessible around the world.

In the news: ChargePoint and Eaton are helping power one of our largest transit deployments to date. ⚡

EnergyTech recently highlighted Santa Monica’s $56 million investment in charging infrastructure to support the transition of its Big Blue Bus fleet to zero-emission operations.

The project will bring together 130 ChargePoint DC fast-charging ports, ChargePoint fleet software and Eaton power management technology, creating an integrated solution designed to support up to 195 battery-electric buses.

It’s a powerful example of what’s possible when charging, energy management and strong partnerships come together at scale.
