Three common resume mistakes, and how to fix them.
Our staffing team has hired and placed hundreds of engineers, so they've seen it all. We asked them what stands out (for the wrong reasons) when reviewing resumes. The top three:

- Paragraphs instead of bullet points: keep it scannable
- No metrics: specific numbers and examples show real impact
- Lack of context: were you involved in prototyping? Production? Say so

Bonus tip: keep it professional. Skip the photos and hobbies. A clean, focused resume goes a long way.
