At Colorado School of Mines, a graduate student developed a triaxial Helmholtz coil system capable of precise, closed-loop magnetic field control across three axes. Using AMC B30A40AC servo drives to regulate coil current, the system delivers accurate and repeatable magnetic field generation for advanced research applications.

Penn State Altoona students designed a robotic basketball arm capable of sinking free throws with 90% accuracy. Powered by an AMC DPEANIU-040A400 servo drive and a custom gear train, the articulated elbow joint delivers the speed, torque and repeatability needed for consistent 15-foot shots.
