We are excited to get our hands on a great product from American Torch Tip next week! We are eagerly awaiting a new "Lightning" Mig Gun for one of our customers. We recommended this American Made product because of ATTC's quality, as well as the lifetime warranty on the gun itself! Tip of the Week: Back Purge vs No Back Purge

You can use back purging to create a controlled environment on the backside of your weld by using your cover gas to keep atmospheric gases from contaminating the back side of your weld. This method is commonly used when welding Stainless Steel, Titanium, & other high-end metals. This is a common practice on pipes or containers, but can also be used on plate, or sheet metal. See below for a good example of how this can affect the quality of your weld, as well as an example of how to set this up.
