I have been under the weather for a few days, but there is no way I could let Father’s Day pass without honoring my father Smitty.

A proud Marine Corps veteran who dedicated his life to serving our country and protecting the freedoms we enjoy today. More than that, he was the man who taught me the value of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. He showed me that nothing worth having comes easy, that you stand by your word, and that with enough determination, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

The second photo is especially meaningful to me. It’s the last picture we ever took together. In it, he’s holding my son, his grandson. It’s a memory I’ll treasure for the rest of my life.

Dad, thank you for your service, your sacrifices, your lessons, and your love.

Happy Heavenly Father’s Day Smitty. We miss you, we love you, and we will carry your legacy forward.🙌🇺🇸

Y’all… these homemade dinner rolls from Bake & Print Co. are absolutely amazing!!!😍A couple weeks ago, I placed an order a few days in advance and picked them up fresh the same day they were baked. They were incredible!!! Warm, Soft, fluffy, and full of that homemade flavor you just can’t get from a store bought package.

If you’re old enough to remember (like me 👵 ) when the school cafeterias used to make their dinner rolls fresh from scratch,🍞 then you know exactly what I’m talking about. One bite of these took me right back to my childhood. That same warm, homemade taste that’s hard to find these days.

I grabbed two dozen. One for dinner that day and one to keep in the freezer for another day.😆
