There’s more than one way to skin a cat! This broken bolt was brought to me with an easy out broken in it. I tried all the ol tricks of the trade to no avail, so it was time do surgery. I will admit I had a lot of fun on this project.

I get quite a few questions about the capabilities of the shop. Here is a good example of why this is not just a machine shop or a weld shop. It’s a one stop shop! This manure be**er bar inner shaft was bent. The steps taken to repair are as follows. Torch the welded end caps out and get the tube back to the original inner diameter. Why is this step so important? This is the first step in making sure that when it spins that it is not out of balance. From there we turn the new end caps on the lathe for an exact fit. Next cut the key way in the new shaft and weld it all back together making it better than new. These are just a few examples the capabilities of O’Neal Fabrication and Welding.
