We had a great turnout at our Christmas party last week at Ichiban and loved being able to surprise the team with a fun raffle and some awesome prizes. It was a great night of good food, laughs, and time together outside of work.

We were also lucky enough to have a very cute baby join us, which made the evening even more special. ❤️

As we continue to grow and invest in the future of our company, building team morale and showing appreciation remains a priority. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it a great night! We’re excited for what’s ahead!

We are shining the spotlight on Steve as he has hit his 10-year work anniversary at Century Roll this week!

Steve has worked in the steel industry for over 40 years. He has worked in many areas; structural, auto, and the food industry, fabricating and mastering the art of rolling on his own. Steve even became a Journeyman Millwright during his career. With all of Steve’s knowledge and experience, he was also instrumental in getting Century Roll off the ground.

Steve stated he originally went to school to be a Carpenter but decided to go into the steel industry instead. He really enjoys “building something out of nothing.” Steve believes he got that skill from his father, as he was the same way. When Steve started in the steel industry, he really enjoyed framing and building, along with the critical thinking aspect of it. He stated how he likes how every day is different at work. That not every piece of material rolls the same so he is able to use his skills to find ways to do so. Outside of work, Steve enjoys hunting, going to car shows, and working on classic vehicles. He even built one from scratch! Steve also enjoys spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Steve is an outstanding employee who provides top notch work and is incredibly intelligent. Steve has always been very dependable and hard working! He is a team player, helping any of his coworkers out with anything they need. Steve has been a shining example of what an outstanding Employee is and has been a great role model for others. We have been truly blessed to have Steve a part of our team!

We are shining the spotlight on Chad as he has hit his 10-year work anniversary at Century Roll this week!

Chad got his start in the steel industry in 2005. He learned the art of rolling from his Father-In-Law, Garwin Lamb. After Gar passed, he came on board to Century Roll in its infancy. He was instrumental in getting Century Roll off the ground.

Chad stated when he first started in the industry, he was really looking for something new. As time went on, he really enjoyed the problem-solving side of it all. He liked learning how each machine worked and perfecting them (which he definitely has!). Chad also stated how he really likes being able to learn new things. Outside of work, Chad enjoys riding his dirt bike, along with spending time with family and his pets, playing video games, and tinkering with RC cars, drones, and 3-D printing.

Chad is an extraordinary employee who provides top-quality work and is extremely knowledgeable. Chad has led by example of what a great Employee is and has set the bar high for others. You can tell he takes pride in all that he does. We cannot express how grateful we are to have Chad a part of our team!
