Our Story

Temperature Engineering Inc. was established in 1978. Our mission then as it is now is to provide maintenance services to the national account restaurant chains, hotel chains, refrigerated distribution warehouses and refrigerated processing plants. We have developed and maintained a maintenance program that will provide you with services developed around your specific needs. We understand that during your hours of operation that you have specific hours that generate your revenues. Those hours of operation are off limits for routine maintenance. So accordingly we adjust our maintenance schedules so our inside maintenance does not disrupt your day to day operations. All of our maintenance personnel are trained in the specific skills required for maintaining boiler systems, heating systems, ventilation systems, air-conditioning systems, commercial refrigeration systems, exhaust systems, make up air systems and commercial ice making equipment. Our commitment to education for our personnel is on going and we send our personnel to the various manufactures training facilities at the manufacturing plants to insure they receive the best training available. Our personnel are members of Local 597 and attend training schools offered by the union. Our emphasis is to insure the schools attended are specifically related to the expertise required to service refrigeration and HVAC equipment and the digital controls that operate them. In keeping with what we feel the requirements of a good maintenance agreement should provide is competitive pricing in both the hourly time and material rate and realistic discounts on the material used. This formula will provide you with savings that we know no other contractor can offer. If you decide to institute an agreement with our firm we will negotiate firm pricing which would be entered into our system which would insure consistency in pricing and the most competitive pricing in this area. Temperature Engineering is a commercial contractor providing service to educated customers. When the need arises to install replacement equipment we handle all coordination from construction permits, scheduling electricians, roofers and crane lifts. All equipment would be shipped direct to our warehouse and prevent having to have construction crews and cranes having to meet a common carrier at the job site. No loss time, smooth scheduling. All of this equates to savings for your firm in two ways. If the parts or compressors are under warranty your invoice would reflect that. If the labor was also under warranty you would not be invoiced but mailed a copy of the invoice that was sent to the manufacturer responsible for the warranty. This keeps you informed.
