Been busy at the shop lately. Everything from broken bolts in excavator final drives, custom two side signs, bucket repairs, custom gates and even machined some northern hard rock maple for a custom banjo build.

We have been extremely busy since the storm. Here are a couple projects that were completed in the past few weeks.

The shop made it through the storm without damage and we have power. I am currently assisting with road repairs and not in the shop. However if there is a need and can help with repairs, welding or machining please reach out, call, text or leave a note on the door with contact information and I will respond as soon as I get the message. Recent additions to the shop have been made, including preparations for powder coating. Despite still having some work to do before being fully functional, a successful trial run was conducted on several parts today with great results.

Latest project completed and installed last week.

In the spare time over the past summer and fall I started building waste oil burner to help offset heating cost over the cold months. It’s gone through several different designs and changes to get to its current state and there will probably be a couple minor changes once the cold weather is over. Took some time, materials and figuring, but now I’m heating for basically free.
