We’re truly honored to have been chosen as the roofing contractor for this beautiful project!
Hail damage hit all the copper flashings, valleys, chimney caps, and accessories pretty hard, but the insurance claim is moving forward smoothly and the progress has been outstanding.
These high-end copper and slate roofs aren’t something just any roofer can handle. It takes a crew that’s abundantly knowledgeable in how slate and copper roofs go together — the precise detailing, the craftsmanship, and the true artistry required to restore them correctly. This kind of work takes time, and we treat every project like the fine art it is. We’re basically highly skilled roof doctors!
We’ve finished all the chimney flashings, the standing seam shed dormer roofs, and all the valleys. Everything is looking fantastic and tying back together beautifully.
We’re on track to have the entire project wrapped up in about another 2 weeks! Can’t wait to show you the final reveal.

Finally nearing the end of this project that originally started out as just a copper roof on an addition that was built out back but turned into a new spanish slate roof with a copper snow retention system, custom 7" copper k-style gutters, copper downspouts, 6 copper bay windows, and one front entryway copper flat-lock roof.

We are seeking 2-3 experienced or motivated Roofers to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about quality craftsmanship and have a knack for working with slate and copper, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain slate and copper roofing systems according to industry standards and company specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit project requirements.
Ensure proper waterproofing, flashing, and sealing for durable, weather-tight roofs.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client satisfaction.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work site.
Provide excellent customer service, communicating with clients as needed.

Requirements:
Experience in roofing, preferably with slate, copper, or other high-end materials (1-3 years preferred; apprentices considered).
Knowledge of roofing techniques, tools, and safety practices.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Team player with good communication skills.

Pretty soon we will be installing the hips and ridge caps on this awesome copper roof. Instead of doing z-bar we chose to mechanically fold all field panels up and back out, then we have installed wood to create a solid surface under all hips and ridges. This is a very water tight roof and will last a good 70 or 80 years!

Did some slate repairs for a customer out in highpoint yesterday. Slate roofs like the one shown here can last over 100 years as long as it has been correctly installed and properly maintained throughout its lifetime. However far too often we come across slate and copper roofs that have been poorly and often times incorrectly done which is why it is important to ensure you hire a business who has the knowledge and experience required to work on and maintain these roofs.
