Position: 2nd Shift Quality Inspector

📍 Burlington, IA
🕒 Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies
• Use precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
• Verify products meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Complete inspection documentation and maintain accurate records
• Work closely with production teams to support continuous improvement and quality compliance

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of former Flint Cliffs employee, Kenny Richardson. Kenny was a valued part of our team, and he will be remembered for his hard work, kindness, and the impact he made on those around him.

Kenny’s family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on April 2, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 PM at the Morning Sun Community Center. All who knew him are welcome to attend and honor his memory.

2nd shift welder needed

Flint Cliffs Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for completing the structural welding of an assembly within tolerances and as per weld procedures specified, using both automated and manual welding to complete structural joints.
Responsibilities
- Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed product
- Produce assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitive lifting and placing metal work pieces and sheets into fixtures
- Measure dimensions of work pieces to ensure conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, templates, scales, etc.
- Operate manual and/or robotic equipment
- Perform quality checks as prescribed and report issues to lead or supervisor
- Safely complete finishing functions such as grinding, sanding, etc.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience
- 1-3 years welding experience
- Ability to perform basic math and read blueprints/weld symbols
- Ability to stand 10-12 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass FCM forklift certification
- Ability to pass weld test (Ferrous and Non-Ferrous materials)
- Ability to use hand-measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc)
- Ability to understand Welding Procedure Specifications
- Comply with Safety Regulations and PPE requirements
