We've said that helical pile foundations are an alternative to concrete. But what happens when they're a perfect pair?

Despite what some people think, we don't have anything against concrete.

Slabs? Grade beams? Crawlspaces? Basements? All great applications for it.

But... what happens when you need to support the concrete itself?

What happens if we're installing a helical pile foundation and hit a ROCK? Well, there's a few things we can do...

🪨 The first option is to "steer" the helical pile around the obstruction.

🪨 If that doesn't work, then we can move the pile's location to avoid it.

🪨 We can also use our mini excavators to dig-up and remove rocks.

🪨 And, for areas with shallow bedrock or ledges, we can "pin" piles directly to rock.

Running into rocks doesn't mean we can't install a helical foundation.

It just means we get creative!
