Our team had the opportunity to speak with nearly 300 workers from all trades on the jobsite down in Temple. During the training, we covered important safety protocols including proper rigging practices, OSHA standards, and how to efficiently handle less-than-ideal jobsite conditions such as high wind speeds, uneven ground, and other everyday challenges all with the goal of keeping every crew member safe on the jobsite.

Many of the topics discussed focused on real-world jobsite logistics and how our teams can approach them in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. Thank you Ginger Cranes for providing a crane onsite to demonstrate proper setup procedures firsthand.

Here’s to training that strengthens our teams, improves jobsite safety, and helps us continue raising the standard for the industry.

Jobsite: Sunset Amphitheatre McKinney, TX

Our Commercial Division is hard at work alongside HOLT Crane & Equipment Irving / Dallas and Potter Structures to bring a massive parking garage to life for the new Sunset Amphitheatre.

It’s been incredible working with such a strong crew on a project of this scale, excited to see it all come together!

Project Highlights:
• 45,000 cyds of concrete
• 865,000 SF of CIP elevated decks
• 69 elevated slab pours
• 4 crews working simultaneously
• 200 men on site
• 32 weeks from first pier to final placement

For the past 13 months, we’ve had the opportunity to run the LR 1300 alongside Double J Steel across 21 projects several with multiple building sets.

With Jerry Boland at the controls, the LR 1300 has delivered exceptional performance, including an impressive 55 panels set in a single day. Even more importantly, we’re proud to say we’ve had zero injuries and zero downtime — a true testament to the reliability of the equipment and the strength of our team.

A huge shoutout to our A&D crew for moving this crane time and time again over the last year. With a packed schedule and nonstop momentum, their coordination and dedication ensured we made it to every job on time and ready to work.

It takes every single person to make results like this possible. We’re proud of what Big B and Double J have accomplished together and look forward to seeing what the rest of 2026 brings. 💪🏻
