AVC Marine — Custom Climate Control & Power Integration
This IRON pilot house came to AVC Marine for a complete climate-control solution designed to provide real comfort on the water without relying on shore power.
We designed and installed a complete 12V Mabru marine air-conditioning and heating system, including a custom-built six-vent air distribution manifold designed specifically for this application. The result is balanced airflow throughout the pilot house with a clean, factory-style installation.
The system is backed by a high-capacity Epoch lithium battery bank, providing a full day or more of climate control depending on conditions and usage. At the dock, Victron charging keeps the system ready to go, while DC-to-DC charging underway replenishes the house bank and helps extend runtime on the water.
But the installation isn't finished when the last wire is connected. We also spend time on the water with the customer, operating and demonstrating the complete system in real-world conditions. We go through system operation, charging, battery management and best practices so the customer understands exactly what was installed, how it works, and how to get the most out of it.
Everything was designed as one complete system — HVAC, custom fabrication, ducting, lithium power, charging, controls and customer training — while maintaining serviceability and making the finished installation look like it belonged in the boat from day one.

Sometimes an electronics upgrade starts with pulling the mast.

This sailboat is getting a new Raymarine i70s instrument system with new wind and depth transducers, and doing it right takes a little more than just swapping displays at the helm.

After a previous haul-out for the transducer work, this round meant coordinating with the teams at Postell Boatworks and Aqualand Marina to get the mast pulled so we can properly run the new wiring and finish the Raymarine upgrade.

Crane, travel lift, mast work, wiring, electronics — a lot of moving pieces and a few good teams working together to get the job done right.

We appreciate the teams atPostell Boatworks and Aqualand working alongside us and making projects like this come together.

This one belongs to a longtime repeat AVC customer and came in for a little pre-Labor Day attention before heading back to the Gulf of America.

Garmin Kraken trolling motor with SeaSwivel mount, Garmin updates, system checks and a full water test to make sure everything is communicating and working exactly like it should.

The install is only part of the job. We want to know the electronics, trolling motor and systems perform on the water before we hand the keys back.

No surprises at the ramp. No troubleshooting when the fish are biting.

Just load the boat, point the bow offshore and go have some fun.

This one means a little more!

A longtime customer bought this Prodigy sight unseen and had it sent straight to AVC with a pretty simple request: take an already premium boat and make it better.

So that’s exactly what we did.

Twin Garmin 16” displays and a full Garmin electronics package. SIONYX night vision. A huge JL Audio system with a properly designed and tuned subwoofer package, finished with a custom CNC-machined aluminum grille built in-house and matched to the boat’s factory colors.

We also designed and 3D printed a custom upper T-top electronics box, added Baja Designs lighting with custom mounts, and installed a Bob’s jack plate to help get this thing skinny when it needs to.

The result is clean, functional, seriously capable and built for a whole lot of fun on the water.

But the coolest part of this build is the trust.

When a longtime customer buys a boat without ever seeing it and sends it directly to us to finish the job, we don’t take that lightly.
