CB Machining & Engineering is hiring! We are a growing, local, Veteran Owned machine shop at 1500 1st Ave NE (across the street from the Post Office and Fire Department on East side of Buffalo).
We are seeking a skilled and innovative CNC Programmer for our Turning Department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in using modern tools and equipment to ensure efficient and standardized approaches for our CNC programs, tooling and setups. This position requires a strong background in programming, and familiarity with traditional and emerging manufacturing technologies.
Since this will be focused on CNC programming for Turning, CNC Lathe experience, especially with machines using FANUC controls (M Code) and programming with MasterCam will be extremely important.
Duties will include creating op routings, programs, op sketches, setup sheets and inspection forms for each machining operation.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with CAM software (MasterCam preferred), have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and customers will be important.
