HUGE thanks to the Buffalo Police Dept, Buffalo Fire Department, Prairie Grove Fire, Hwy Patrol, and sheriff's deptfor the extremely fast response time and professionalism last night!!!
They were amazing!!!
As most know cause it's "the talk of the town" this morning, we had an incident last night at the store.
All is well, IT WAS NOT A BOMB, there was not a bomb threat, there were no windows broken, it wasn't really near the store. We have rolled the cameras back a week and no conclusion of where it came from or who put it there.
Now. What happened.
My freight truck arrived early and around 7 I went to unload, Trinity seen something by the road and said "hey I'm gonna go throw that away" then yelled at me "I'm not sure this is just trash". I finished getting the last pallet off and looked and it and went "hmmmmmmm....." I called an officer I know and said hey you wanna come look at this and he very sternly said "call 911!!!". I did. They was here before my freight truck had left the lot. They all looked at it and agreed that it looked really really sketchy so safety first they called in the bomb squad from Greene County.
They examined and X-rays etc etc.
What was it??? It was a bunch of lithium batteries wrapped in plastic, taped up with some wires hanging out. The Fire Department took and properly disposed of them and all is well. Back to regularly scheduled programming...
Again thanks to all the Public Servants for taking care of the situation.
