It is with heavy hearts that we learn of the heartbreaking incident in Washington, D.C., where two members of the United States National Guard were tragically attacked.

My family and I strongly condemn this inhumane act and express our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families.

Violence does not represent a nation;

Millions of Afghans around the world are a peaceful, kind, and grateful people.

We deeply appreciate the compassion and support of the American people and will never forget it.

با قلبی آکنده از غم، خبر حادثه دردناک واشنگتن دی‌سی را شنیدیم؛ جایی که دو تن از اعضای گارد ملی آمریکا به شکل بی‌رحمانه مورد حمله قرار گرفته.
من و خانواده‌ام این عمل غیرانسانی را با تمام وجود محکوم می‌کنیم و در کنار خانواده‌های داغدار، صمیمانه خود را شریک اندوه‌شان می‌دانیم.

می‌دانیم که خشونت چهره یک ملت نیست؛
میلیون‌ها افغان شریف، صلح‌دوست و قدردان در سراسر جهان زندگی می‌کنند.
ما نیز از مهربانی و حمایت مردم آمریکا عمیقاً سپاسگزاریم و این محبت را هرگز فراموش نخواهیم کرد.
