We are building the Dream Chaser to provide, at a minimum:

The ability to use not only petrol-powered engines, but also hybrids including diesel or electric-powered. The ability to fly non-stop from continent to continent with far better fuel economy while using lower-emission fuels. Ample room for baggage and/or science and research equipment. The latest of safety equipmen

t built into a comfortable and quiet interior with a soul-inspiring view of the world below you. Low-cost maintenance and simpler operations at an affordable price. The latest in worldwide navigation and communication equipment. The ability to fly high above most weather patterns, with a military-grade oxygen system. The ability to house and transport non-stop science and research equipment over the North and South Poles. The ability to fly long distances to use for reconnaissance and surveillance for documentation of illegal whale hunting or other important environmental research.

Well today is the day we have launched our crowd-funding for the Dream Chaser Aircraft. We have designed and have already built parts of the aircraft, but it is not quite finished yet. A couple of the inspirations of designing and building an aircraft like this was our desire to build a piston powered aircraft that has to ability to fly continent-to-continent and to be able to fly long distance to provide information on the location of illegal whale hunting ships.

And it will be the aircraft than anyone wanting to fly around the world will choose.

Also, to keep the cost down on an aircraft that can fly multiple missions into the polar region for gathering air samples.

The plane may look small in photo's but it is 22 feet long 48 foot wingspan and over 10 feet high.

The Dream Chaser Aircraft is a High Altitude Long Endurance aircraft with the ability to fly above 35,000 feet and for over 50 hours giving it a range of over 8,000 miles.
