We are thankful for all that we have and all of those in our lives, and that is what the Thanksgiving holiday is all about. Robert Jackson, Managing Director, Receives Professional Engineer License in the State of New York

Robert Jackson recently received his professional engineer license in the State of New York. He is also a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania & Delaware as well as a licensed subsurface evaluator in New Jersey.

Bob has over 36 years of environmental consulting experience that includes program/project management, site characterization and remediation, due diligence, discharge/spill prevention, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance.

As a Managing Director, he continues to manage a variety of projects including site investigation and remedial design and remedial action, and preparation and certification of DPCC and SPCC Plans, for sites in New Jersey and New York. He has successfully executed projects in New York City in conjunction with the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA), Housing Preservation & Development (HPD), NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), NYC Mayor’s Office of Environmental Remediation (OER), New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). Some of these projects have been completed under the Brownfields and Voluntary Clean-up Programs.

Equity's Managing Director, Robert Jackson, was a member of the joint planning council of Society of American Military Engineers New Jersey Post and Philadelphia Post that planned the Small Business Roundtable event at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst (JBMDL) Small Business Roundtable on October 20th.

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) has released details of their $300 million tax credit program designed to incentivize brownfields redevelopment and encourage long-term investment into the State, while remediating and redeveloping underutilized properties.

The proposed Brownfields Redevelopment Incentive Program tax credits will be awarded via competitive application process and must meet certain eligibility requirements.

EPA is proposing to designate two per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as CERLA Hazardous Substances. The rulemaking would require entities to immediately report releases of PFOA and PFOS that meet or exceed the reportable quantity.

The pre-publication version of an EPA Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) is out now and EPA will be publishing the NPRM in the Federal Register in the next several weeks. Upon publication, EPA is asking for public comments on the proposal for 60 days following publication in the Federal Register.

Equity was a proud sponsor of the LSRPA - Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association's Co****le Tournament. Peter Jaran and Lucille Favale represented Equity in the tournament. It was a great night on the beach in Point Pleasant, NJ.

The LSRPA is recognized as the primary industry advocacy group for remediation practitioners in New Jersey.
