🔥 Something a little different coming out of Broken Spur Welding…

We’ve been working on one of our own projects—a custom utility trailer we’re setting up to pull double (or triple 😂) duty for camping, hunting, and work.

The goal? Build something tough, practical, and set up exactly the way WE want it instead of trying to make a store-bought trailer work for us.

And that got us thinking… why not build them for you too?

Need a hunting setup? Camping trailer? Jobsite/tool trailer? Something to haul your welder, generator, fuel, equipment or gear? We can fabricate a setup around what YOU actually need.

One of our favorite things about owning a small family business is that sometimes a work trip turns into a family adventure. 🤎

This past weekend, we headed up to Prescott to look over a potential upcoming job—and since we were already making the drive, we loaded up all five kids and made a whole day out of it.

Because behind Broken Spur Welding isn’t a big crew or a corporation. It’s our family. It’s Dad out in the field doing the welding and fabrication, Mom handling things behind the scenes, and five little reasons why we’re working so hard to build something of our own.

We got the job looked at, explored Prescott, made some memories with the kids, and called that a pretty successful business trip. 🤠

There are moments when you stop working, step back, and just take it all in.

Yesterday, I walked underneath nothing but steel posts. Today, I’m standing beneath a structure that my husband has built one beam at a time.

Watching an empty piece of ground transform into something like this has been incredible. Every measurement, every lift, every weld, and every long day in the Arizona heat has led to this. Nothing here was rushed, and nothing was taken lightly.

At Broken Spur Welding, we believe every weld matters. Whether it’s a structural steel project like this, a custom fabrication, or a simple repair, we approach every job with the same mindset: do it right the first time. We take pride in our craftsmanship because we know our name is attached to every project we complete.

I may be a little biased, but watching my husband bring a vision like this to life with his own two hands is something I’ll never take for granted. Seeing it go from an open dirt lot to this steel framework reminds me exactly why we started Broken Spur Welding.

Another commercial project completed by Broken Spur Welding. 💪

This project involved the installation of custom stainless steel wall panels, along with field-fabricated trim, ceiling joints, and a clean, professional finish throughout the workspace.
