Hey Y'all, this may be a longer read, but wanted to update some information on why I haven't posted much lately
So February 12th this year I had a total knee replacement surgery, recovery and Physical therapy was to be honest, pretty intense, and depending on the individual, recovery times all very... I was told some normal activities around week 8 to 12 weeks post surgery, and up to a full year for complete recovery.
I am just coming up to week # 12 and doing fairly well, Praise God!
I am determined to get the most flexibility back into my new knee, it's been up and down, arthritis pain is gone, and knee feels great, it's just other pains, with the flexibility and scar tissue I must work at in getting the stretches and exercises to overcome!
With that being said, I have done a few service calls on the burning and welding side of my normal posts... unfortunately, I just didn't think to take "After" pictures on one, and "before" pictures on others!
I do have "some" pictures, these job's were mostly trying to help people out in a Bind, and wanting to be a blessing to them, while trying to get this new knee acclimated to my line of work
First pictures back on April 8th,"and only" are from a Gualded seized Pin on a Bulldozer cylinder eye, the customer needed this Dozzer back in service, the cylinder blew it's seal, and needed replacement or rebuilt, Pin was approximately 1 5/8" in diameter, and 7" long going through lug mounts and Cylinder eye... took a lot of Heat, and sledge hammering 🔨 but we got it out! Glad his younger son was there to swing that sledge while I held a very large backing out punch!
Second Job April 26th, was a farmers 300 gallon spraying machine, the wheel spindle wore out, a friend had called me to help, he had already fabricated a new spindle and hub assembly, I was needed to be mobile with my burning rig and welder to do the repairs out in a field. I burnt old spindle off, and welded on the new piece made.
Yesterday, May 4th, I repaired my father in law's trailer gate.. 1/8" factory angel iron actually broke out, I managed to save the existing expanded metal, cut out broken angel, welded in new piece, and the expanded metal, took pictures this morning of the small repairs, and hit with primer
I'm so sorry for this long detail of a post... most wil probably not even read this... but trying to catch up!!!
