‼️Morgan County Ambulance is now on accident alert‼️

📍What is Accident Alert? Accident Alert is used during times of inclement weather and extreme road conditions. Notification is made to dispatch that MCAS is on Accident alert.

📍Purpose: To promote safety and reduce number of MCAS response vehicles responding to false reporting of accidents, old accidents, accidents with no injuries or victims who desire no medical assistance.

📍 What does this mean? Response times will be delayed. Emergency lights will not be used unless a known life threat exists, taken on a call by call basis. Long distance transports may be delayed or denied. MCAS will not respond to reports of a vehicle slide off unless there are reported injuries, a high probability for injuries, or confirmed injuries.

Getting into an accident is the last thing you want to deal with, and we know how overwhelming the next steps can feel. Whether it’s a minor ding or a major collision, JD’z Autobody is here to help you navigate the entire claims process.

If your vehicle is drivable, the best first step is to call Mom—and then give us a call or stop by our shop. If your car isn't drivable, we can arrange a tow for you. We will inspect the damage and let you know if it is advisable to file a claim with your insurance company. If you are unsure about moving forward with a claim, you can share our assessment with your insurance provider to discuss your best options.

It is also important to know your rights. While insurance companies may provide a list of "in-network" shops and claim they won't warranty work done elsewhere, remember that you have the right to choose your own repair shop. At JD’z Autobody, we have warrantied our work since 1989 and work with all insurance providers. Additionally, you will not face any out-of-pocket expenses unless you personally authorize them.
