A little heads up for our customers: It's been a little crazy trying to estimate costs on materials, but fortunately, much of our hardware is made in the USA, and most of our lamps are made in Europe. We don't build anything in China. Our single bulb prices are the same as they were 10 years ago, we've just eaten the inflation, offsetting it with greater volume of sales. Few retailers can say that. However, we are looking at 30% tariffs on our European goods for the foreseeable future, which means a price increase is very possible soon on future stock. Now is a good time to stock up on bulbs before any possible increase.

Thanks again to all of you. 2024 has been a really good year for us, and we still get so much great feedback from you guys and gals. To all our growers, pig farmers, violin makers, shoe whiteners, UV printers, and the dozens (or more) of other professions that rely on our lamps, we are happy to serve. Personally, one of the best parts of this job is being able to help such a huge variety of customers that each have their own interesting story, their own creative uses for our products. It's never a boring day.

Yes, we don't post much, but we are in the bulbs business, not social media business, and business has been increasing every year. Even with inflation going crazy over the last 5 years, we still haven't raised our prices on Flower Power bulbs (or other bulbs). We've made due, found other ways to save, and have kept the price the same for 10 years and running. Thanks to all of you that made this possible!

Meanwhile, in Alaska, a new customers is dialing in their Flower Power 4 footers with their LEDs. Pushing it to 3 hours a day, still early in flower, but you can see how they mounted them.

Just ordered 1000 refrigerator magnets to give away with our pig tanning lights. Helpful (and humorous) way to remind our customers how to contact us. Pig tanning has actually become a large thing, bigger than most of our other markets. People love to show pigs, and they love to win shows, and I'm pretty sure there are a lot of blue ribbons with the Solacure name behind them.

Tracie is someone I've worked with for 26 years, and someone I consider a good friend. Unfortunately, she has late stage cancer and there are no treatment options. She is in Hospice. Her daughter Chelsea (I've known her all her life) is the main concern now. Tracie's sister has stepped up to take over raising Chelsea, but they are raising money to do this. We are establishing a college fund at the office, but they need help with day to day. Tracie works for UVA/SunMaster, but has also helped a great deal with Solacure, including building out some of our light fixtures, wiring kits and more, so you may have some of her handiwork and not know it. I'm asking all our customers, all our friends, to consider donating to help pay for Chelsea's expenses. She's in the 9th grade, a straight A student, and one of the kindest young ladies you would ever meet. I will miss my friend, but the best way I can honor her memory is to help take care of the person she holds most dear, her daughter. If you can, please do. Even a little helps.
