Overloaded pallet rack doesn't usually fail all at once. It starts small — beam deflection you might not even notice — then spreads to the uprights, connection points, and eventually adjacent bays that were never built to carry the extra load. By the time it's obvious, you're looking at injuries, damaged inventory, and a shutdown.
