The new fixture table is going to be BIG. Just the frame for the top is large. 12.5' x 5' x 3" thick. And it's straighter than an arrow.

Hoping to cut and then add the 3/8" plates to the top frame work today.

If you are considering a cordless metal cutting circular saw, check out this bad boy. Milwaukee Tool 's M18 Metal Saw. Just cut 200 linear inches of 1/4" thick mild steel plate with ease. Even used the blade that came with. Clean, quick cuts made it much faster than the plasma. Also cut 1" thick worth of material just over 1.75" deep! Very impressive little saw.

New fab table in the works!

This followed us home today. An Autoquip dual scissor lift table. With a 12' x 4' top and a 9600 lbs capacity. Goes from 7" to 55" in height.

So excited to put it into service!

Wait! What? Are they multiplying???

Yup, after a few weeks of testing the machine and the accessories we bought for it, we can say that we are fans. Big fans! Enough so that we brought in a couple more identical new machines to resell.

Special delivery just arrived. A couple odd sized pieces we don't usually play with. 1-3/8" square and hexagonal cold rolled bars.

After only a couple hours of use, the new mini excavator is getting some upgrades!

Added a couple of manual diverter valves for the auxiliary hydraulics along with quick disconnect fittings for the hoses. Accomplished this by drilling and tapped the main arm.

And removed the 16" toothed bucket that came with the machine. Then installed the semi quick attachment coupler onto the arm and tested it out with 16" bucket.

This was fun!

Having to roll two 40' lengths of 3/4" sq tubing into identical 12' circles.

Using our in house designed and built powered tubing roller made quick and easy work of it. Even if we had to roll them outside due to ceiling height...

Came out well.

We were fortunate enough to acquire another piece of equipment that should step up our game!

After a bunch of research into the lastest fad of Chinese mini excavators, we realized just how useful one would be. Especially if they can be found for a good enough value. Well we found a new one through a local auction house for a steal of a price that we couldn't pass up.

So welcome to the newest member of the fleet! A brand new CFG Industrial MX15RX Mini Excavator.

We are excited to put it to work!
